The Bear Network is a group exclusively for Missouri State staff members who are 40 years of age or younger. You're invited to join us for fun events that will enhance your experience as a member of the university family.
Spring 2018 events:
- Title IX and the workplace
What: Please join us as we take an interactive approach to address issues associated with sexual harassment in the workplace and review the university’s polices associated with sexual harassment. This event will be co-hosted by Jill Patterson, the university Title IX Coordinator, and Tammy Few, the university Director of Human Resources.
When: April 19, 2018, 4:00 p.m.
Where: Prime Overtime Club, JQH Arena

Social Event: Come cheer on the Bears at the Maroon and White football game. Pre-game at BearFest Village beginning at 6pm. Kick-off is at 7 pm.

What: You can join Missouri State students, faculty and your fellow staff members in a day of service for the Springfield community. Sign up for the Public Affairs Community Engagement Project.
When: April 22-28, 2018
Where: Specific locations and times will be available soon from the office of community involvement and service.
- How to succeed in business networking
What: Network with 417-land young professionals. Hosted by Springfield Little Theatre's Associate Board of Directors, this happiest hour features drink specials at The Order and chances to mingle with up-and-coming industry leaders. Then, head next door to opening of "How to Succeed in Business," performed on Landers' stage.
